Grrr. I used to get borax from Coles. Now they don't stock it. Oh and they don't stock PVA either. There goes my plans to make one of my daughters friends a little kit to make some flubber. Problem is I'd love to get some borax for all other kinds of jobs too. But I have no idea where it is. Would bunnings have it? Maybe Safeway? I really can't run around town all day trying to find it, with my two year old and my 5mth old. I'm in Traralgon, Vic.. can anyone help?
I recently bought borax for $3.50 at Safeway. No I could not get it in Coles. My local Bunnings did have it, although it was the "non toxic" one, now they say they don't get it at all. I live in Ringwood.
Ipurchased at Safeway this week the packaging has changed its now with a "green" look with green lid look on bottom shelves near pest control area good luck
I got very angry that COles stopped stocking borax, but they would not listen to my requests and would not give me a reason other than they were reducing the low selling stock items to maximise profits.
You really really should complain to them about this. It's not as though there are alternative sellers in my shops.
